I blow out my hair nice and pretty, making sure to wrap it in some curlers as I go. I then go and grab my makeup bag and set it on the counter to begin with that.
I know I want my makeup to be simple but effective, so I do a glowy base and a pretty shimmery blush and just fix up my eyebrows a bit. I also add some mascara and line my lips as well.
The finished product is way better than I expected, and I love it!

After my makeup is done I walk over to my closet. It's hard to pick something out for parties because everyone at my school dresses up. We do heels and dresses, which is super fun but can also be challenging.
After a while of searching, I come up with a spaghetti strap yellow mini dress. It makes me nervous, for sure, but I want to wear it so whatever.
I also pick out some Jimmy Choo nude heels, and my pink little Chanel purse. I'm hoping it will all look good together.
When I zip up my dress and put on my accessories, I turn to look in the mirror.

I try not to criticize myself. When I got invited earlier today I decided not to eat the rest of the day so the dress would fit. I know that's super bad, but it looks really good now- and no one has to know what I did.
