The wind's hush, some murmured;

Try's they may whichever

They rustled homes pondered

Silent nodes, if thunder

Reels thunder, (or lightning)

Cracking spitefully peace;

Some homes clamor t' nothing

But jovial grins th' were leased

Yet, whose face but wind poised

Can tell which answer's right?

Respond, it learned, with noise

For peace, and peace with might.
