''these are your mom's favourite, right?'' he whispered, lifting the bouquet of your mom's all-time favourite flowers he thoroughly researched up to present them to her nicely when she opened the door
''Mrs [L/N], it's such an honour to finally meet you in person!'' he smiled confidently, bowing politely to your mom and handing her the carefully selected arrangement of flowers before turning to your dad to impress him with a handshake he has been preparing for all week

''that is the best answer I could've ever received. welcome to the family son, I hope you can keep making my girl happy'' your dad smiled, pulling him in for a warm hug before everyone turned to look at you, who already had tears running down your face and an emotional pout from the words that just came out of your boyfriend's mouth
-all 3 individuals embraced you at once, which really gave you the impression of you all being the family you've been dreaming of for ages. there were no words to describe the satisfaction you had about chan's first meeting with your parents, they felt the same way. they love the idea of you spending your future with him and are looking forward to seeing him around more
