Barbie Mariposa and the Fairy Princess

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝟓: 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝑭𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔

Aurora's POV:
Nighttime

It was hours after the tea disasters when me, Mariposa and Z had an awkward dinner with the Royals especially the King, me and Z were already in bed to get some sleep as Mariposa was sitting on her side of the bed holding the 'Flutterflower' as she was reading the book.

Z turned to the side, where she opened her eyes and saw the paper mache of a creature they thought it was the version of Z's kind which caused her to be startled and scared before she flew behind her

which she also bumped into another causing her to whimper and fly behind her her it was a thorn causing her to scream and fly and stop seeing the glowing light of the flower that Posa was holding

Z shook herself out of her scared moment when I sat up from the bed and Posa looked at Z and smiled Z made a sound asking Posa why is she still up.

"Can't sleep Z, Rora?" Posa asked us which I spoke first

"I was at the beginning, but the glowing just reminds me of back home and the recognizable light." I smiled

Posa gave me an apologetic smile "Sorry Aure, I didn't mean to keep you up."

I shrugged and gave her a smile. "It's no problem, Posa, I'd love to stay up a little bit more."

Mariposa smiled before we listened to Z how she was getting scared of the paper mache.

"I know I know. I couldn't sleep either. " Mariposa told us which made Z growled of that.

"There's just so much to learn about 'Shimmervale' or you Aurora can't have any tea disasters," Mariposa said

I nodded "Even if it was an accident or if we're being clumsy." I added as Z hit the paper mache next to her away before she collapsed onto the pillow and started to snore

"Hmm? It says here, that 'Outsiders are forbidden to touch a 'Crystallite' especially the 'The Heart Stone' which is the most powerful 'Crystalite' in 'Shimmervale'' that's why the King was so upset at Tea." Mariposa read her book out loud for me to hear.

"It makes sense when given our history and all Posa, He must've been scared about what would've happened," I frowned

Mariposa nodded at me as Z was grumbling, covering her face and body with the pillow as she was trying to sleep, making me and Mariposa laugh at her cute attempts

"Sorry Z, but I'm not tired and this light just makes me feel like I'm at home." Mariposa admitted motioning to the 'Flutterflower'

I smiled at her agreeing that rhe flowers reminded us of home as well.

"I know what you mean Posa, since I also feel that the 'Flutterflower' reminded me of home as well," I added before I sighed missing home.

Posa set her book down before she pulled me into a hug, which I hugged her back, cheering me up as I started to smile

"Thanks, Posa, for this hug and for cheering me up, and reassuring me," I said, hugging her

"No problem Aura." Mariposa said as she hugged me

Then all of a sudden, we felt a pillow hit our temples, causing us to gasp and break apart from the hug

We looked at Z who giggled at this before I smiled and grabbed a nearby pillow. "Ohh you're going to get it Z." I smiled

Before throwing the pillow at Z as Mariposa laughed, watching us before she also joined in the pillow fight

We were laughing, enjoying the pillow fight against each other.

The pillow fight lasted for an hour or two before we decided to get some actual sleep.

We began cleaning up, picking up the pillows before we got ready for bed on Posa's part as Posa put her 'Flutterflower;' away in her pouch me and Posa got on our sides of the bed, got under the covers before Posa turned off the lights before we bid each other good night

"Night Posa." I smiled before I closed my eyes

"Good night Rora." Mariposa smiled before she closed her eyes

And we started to fall asleep and began dreaming hopefully that everyone back home is doing well.
