sleeping soundly and snugly
whispers through the cracks
her heart thumps out of her chest
fear flashes by her face
the colour all drained out
tears uncontrollably escaping
she hugs herself tightly
looking down at her blood stained hands
his limp body slumps
the warm gun drops to the floor
falling into madness, she screams
is this reality or a dream?
with a jolt, she open her eyes
her body shivering from the thought
it was only a dream...
