she wove an intricate web,
wore her clothes of lies.
so complicated she made her
traps, so complex the lies
became; the sticky webbing
overlapping each other until
each line was indecipherable
from each other. each lie became
a huge sticky web that
encompassed her life until
that was what her life became.
a lie. and she the spider could
only spin more lies to cover up
her old lies and that was all
she knew, lies and no truth.
the only thing she could do
was lie, lie, and lie more
until lie was the truth and
truth was lie. and this life
of lies became who she was,
this convoluted mess of webbing,
until she was entangled in
the web that she wove
herself, and could no longer
dig herself out of the hole
she dug herself in. and at the end
she was nothing more but
a whisper passed between
mouths and behind a hand
and she had become a lie;
she was the lie.
she was the lie.
