🐾Sky's POV🐾

I pushed past all the teachers and ran outside

Kaden was sitting on a tree stump hissing as Bryan cleaned his wounds. His hands were clenched into fists and his eyes were still that dark forest green color.

Jared stood by shifting nervously from foot to foot as Kaden whispered something to him.

As I got closer, I noticed that Kaden's previous white t-shirt was stained with blood. There wasn't any spot on it that didn't have a speck of blood.

"Kaden" I whimpered and his eyes shot to mine.

He ignored Bryan's warning of infection and came to my side "Baby" he touched my face and looked me over "Are you okay?"

I whimpered again and tried to hug him but he held me at arms length "Don't baby, you'll get blood on you"

Although tears were gathering in my eyes, I still managed to glare at him "I don't care"

"But I do" he said softly "Let me at least get cleaned up"

I sniffled but nodded

He led me back to where Bryan was patiently waiting.

I sat down and he took off his shirt.

I was stunned but not because of his amazing muscular chest, No, I was stunned because of the deep gashes covering it.

"Kaden, what happened" I said and he looked away

"We fought" he hissed and grabbed Bryan's wrist when he poured Hydrogen Peroxide on the gashed "Easy"

"Kaden, I want to know what he did to you. It's looked like you fought with a bear and the bear won"

Bryan chuckled but quickly suppressed it with a cough.

"And it looks like you lost a lot of blood" I touched his head "Are you feeling woozy? Lightheaded?"

He smiled and moved my hand away from his forehead "I'm fine Sky"

At this point Bryan was bandaging up Kaden before handing him a flannel shirt.

At that exact moment, Mr. Martin walked over.

"How you doing Matthews?"

Kaden nodded his head "Fine Sir"

Mr. Martin raised an eyebrow "Are you sure?"

"I heal quickly" Kaden said before putting a hand on my back and ushering me ahead of him "Are we leaving?"

"Yes" Mr. Martin said "I have to stay here because it turns out Mr. Hunt's injuries were much more severe than we thought"

I turned around in time to see Kaden smirk and his eyes turn back to their pretty Emerald Color.

"Come on Sky, go pack your things. It's time to go home"

By the time we made it back to school, it was already 11:30 at night.
