Dear Jake,
Mom isn't doing so well. She threw up multiple times last night, and my dad decided to take her to the ER. I was left at home with Ella, my younger sister. We both cried...mom didn't come back until after school today. And she's still sick. The only thing those stupid doctors did was give her drugs that don't heal her. Boy, I wish you're here. I wish I could cuddle in those soft arms of yours, and not worry about the danger of the world at all. I wish....I wish my life was different. Heck, I wish a lot of things. Nothing comes true. But....at least I have you. In these letters. And I don't need anything else.
