Tim worked as a school janitor in an elementary school by day and a high school by night. It wasn't the best job he's worked, no, but it made enough money to keep him afloat.
Tim had a cold.
Now, being a school janitor may be a messy job, and it may not be looked upon as glamorous, but he had a serious duty. He cared about the kids, and he was not going to risk getting them sick. However, he really did need the money.
His noisy roommate slurped on his soup. "Just go to the doctor's, they'll give you something to help with it. There's even a free clinic downtown."
"That sounds like a good idea" Tim said with a nasally voice, and then blew his nose obnoxiously. His roommate made a face.
