chapter 5

*** time skip (28 days) ***

- Tenshi's pov -

"naruto, i'm going to miss you so much, and kakashi and everyone"
"hey Tenshi, you can always come visit us  when ever you want, your always welcome to my spare bed" he said as he wrapped me in a bear hug and stroked my silver hair

"thank you so much"
"i want you to have this i said and pulled off a small pendant, it's the kaze symbol" i said and placed it in his hands

"Tenshi, i have nothing to give you but i can give you this"
"what was you talking abou- ack" his lips pressed softly against mine and i froze i knew i loved naruto but i didn't know he loved me back.

 so i did what every one does and i wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. it was a long and passionate kiss
"ahem" my eyes flickered to kakashi's bored face but his eyes hinted a bit of smugness like he knew this was going to happen, sill i didn't stop kissing naruto. until he broke off too soon
"there" he said happily and his eyes flickered to kakashi
"i'm going to miss you Tenshi" he smiled and gave me another bear hug and small peck on my forehead
"good luck, and i hope to see you soon" he gave me a grin and it made me fall in love with him even more.
"thank you, i'll miss you so much" kakashi walked up to me and whispered
"i know you think i'm a pervert, have this" he slips a icha icha book into my pack like a memory
"thanks... doujinshi sensei" i was on the verge of tears so i ran "BYE!" i yelled to everyone

i thanked the hokage and headed out the wast gate only stopping to sign out of the village and say goodbye to izumo and kotetsu.
"bye" i yelled as i ran out the gates i ran until i got to back to the inn where that pervy guy was i walked in "1 room for the night please" i said politely the man turned around and all color drained from his face,
"y-yes m'mam" he said and i giggled i once again walked to my room, it felt so empty with out naruto but i couldn't stop thinking about that kiss, it was so amazing and wonderful and- and so naruto, i pictured his smiles and his voice, his eyes his whiskers and i fell asleep remembering naruto and if i knew anything about naruto it was that he would be thinking about his lonely house and my pendant and my face and my features, that time in the shower and the aftermath. i chuckled. i only dreamed about naruto.

in the morning i packed up and left, i was tired as i didn't have a lot of sleep, so i decided to stop at the hot springs, i soaked and fell asleep when i woke it was late oh no! i need to go, i used the wind to dry my hair and put my clothes on quickly it was late afternoon when i started running again i was straining to make it home in time 

when a ninja with a black cloak with red clouds oh no! Akatsuki
"who are you?" i said sternly. 
"who do you think?" oh my gosh i knew him,
"Samu? it it you" i asked

"glad you figured it out" he smirked

"you know i'm better than you" i said it was a weak threat and it didn't work

"let's see, shall we?" and he got out a kuni i didn't have one on  me so i made one out of wind it was bad because i can't deflect things. he threw ninja stars at me and i tried to dodge them but i got cut
"ack!" i said and gritted my teeth and clasped my arm "you idiot! why all this?! what did this village not give you?! what was so bad?!"
"the only thing i wanted was you" my eyes widened
"you what? come again"
"Tenshi! I've loved you since we met"
"why didn't you ask me out?"
"i did"
"no you didn't"
 "i asked you to train with me and you said yes but you meant a friends thing"soon my knees were numb and my body trembled and i slumped to the ground i'm so stupid i should have used a defensive jutsu
"what did you do to me?" i said through clenched teeth because of the pain
"it's sasori's poison" he simply said, i was a medical ninja but i didn't have any antidotes on me
"you'll soon be dead" he said i could feel the poison killing me and the pain became to hard to resist and as i writhed in pain i let out a scream and i blacked out.

- naruto's pov -

granny sent us on a mission to go to the Kaze village because of an alleged akatsuki attack we were almost there when i heard a scream
"naruto we can't stop for one person,  we need to help the village" she said i looked at kakashi who looked at me
"we are going to her! we are going back because i'd know that voice any where, that is Tenshi!" i said, i saw kakashi make the same realization as me and we all ran towards the scream when we arrived we saw a man
"kakashi, please go take care of the Akatsuki member" he nodded at my order and went off

"Tenshi, are you awake?" she was so pale and limp, her pulse was light and i could hardly feel it "SAKURA!" i yelled she looked at me and saw the state she was in she ran over,
after doing a quick analysis "this is sasori's poison, i think i have an antidote for it" she rummaged through her medikit then she applied the antidote and started medical ninjutsu
"thank you sakura" i heard a soft groan i scooted myself over to Tenshi and i put her head in my lap and stroked her hair with one hand and held her torso off the ground so she could breathe. 

her breathing got stronger and she looked more healthy. 

kakashi got back
"his name was Samu, said she was his bestfriend, and he planned revenge because she turned him down" it was the first time i chuckled. Tenshi stirred in her position, her eyes opened wider than usual and coughed and coughed and coughed i put my arm to her back and gently patted it 

"hey naruto" she said wiping spit from the corner of her mouth then turning to smile at me
"hey" i leaned in and kissed her forehead 

"nice reunion" kakashi said "but we have bigger problems he said and signaled to the smoke that billowed from the ground in the distance and i saw her face, it was once again devoid of color.
