i plugged my earphones in and selected a song as i boarded the old bus.

i sat in my usual seat, in the third row and tapped my fingers against my leg at the rhythm of one republic's "if i lose myself", one of my favourites of all times.

we a approached the park just as i lit the cigarette hanging from my mouth.

"you can see your life out the window tonight",

just as the chorus of the song started, i saw her.

i've seen her everyday for three years, she's like part of my daily routine.

she looks up, and for the second i looked into her eyes i saw so many things.

her sad expression and her pink, almost nude, plump lips,

her eyes that hold so many emotions, the lost look in her face,

brown messy hair, leather journal.

that's the girl i see everyday.
