Damn it, I didn't think that he would walk away. I don't know how to explain to him why I came up to him without blowing the bet away.

I decided the best thing to do is to run after him so that's what I did,

When I caught up to him I wrapped my arms around his stomach so he couldn't run away again

"Let me go!" He yelled trying to get away from me

"Please just let me explain" I said

"Fine" he said going limp in my arms

I let go of him but still held on to his hand in case he tried to get away again

"Listen I know that I don't have a good reason as to why I started talking to you, but I didn't really think I had to have a reason. I saw you sitting there by yourself and you looked really upset and I guess I just felt bad that you were by yourself"

"Oh" he said looking down

"I don't want to hurt you Jacob"

"I know" he mumbled

"Do you want me to walk you home?" I asked

He nodded weakly

I walked him home and surprisingly he invited me in reminding me that his mom wasn't home right now

"You can leave if you want, I just don't like being by myself"

"Jacob it's fine"

We both sat down on the couch and decided to watch a movie, when that was over we decided to make cupcakes because why the hell not?

"Jacob turn around for a second?" I asked

"Hm" he said turning around, I quickly got the cupcake batter and smacked it on his cheek

"Oops" I said licking my finger

Jacob looked down at the batter and then at me and a few seconds later the batter was also in my hair and on my face

"Oops" he said

I stepped closer and licked a little batter off his cheek

"It tastes good" I said

He looked at me surprised and then liked the batter off my nose

"It does" he said laughing

After our cupcake fight we put it in the oven and just talked about random things

I began to realize that Jacob was a great person and I can't break his hurt.

My phone rang and I realized it was my mom, I excused myself to one of the hallways

"Uh hi mom"

"Mark where the hell are you, come home now"

"I'm at a friends and okay bye"

"Bye" she said hanging up

"Jacob, I have to go but I'll text you later"

"Okay" he said standing up and pulling me into a quick hug

"Sorry for doubting you"

"It's fine j" I said, even thought he was so correct.
