Forgive me, ships, for I have sinned. Tobias and Carter have become my favorite couple. I'm more in love with them after 18 chapters than I am with Demi and Kailas with 40 chapters. Of course Puppet isn't finished yet, so I guess there's time for them to catch up as my number one. In the beginning this story wasn't going to be published. Wifey wanted to know about Tobias and Carter so I was going to write it exclusively for her (that's a prop of being an executive, you get special one-shots and full length novels no one else gets). The NaNo came around and I thought hey, an excuse to actually write something, sweet. I actually had this completed entirely on the ninth, but I wanted wifey to read it before I finished posting the last chapter and the epilogue.
I'm not even entirely sure what happened with this, partway through I just lost my mind. I think it was their first kiss that sealed the deal of Tobias and Carter being fucking PERFECT. I may or may not have sobbed when I wrote that chapter, oops.
But god damn they're my favorite couple of all couples I've made so far! There's still time, still one more main couple I have to write about and a handful of smaller couples that show up, but Tobias and Carter though.
I really hope you all enjoyed this prequel and are almost as obsessed with this couple as I have become. And Bryn too because I actually like Bryn. He's a dick, I have no idea why I like him, but I do, and I'm not even sorry, he's friggin awesome. He seems to have some form of acute personality disorder or something, I don't even know.
Anyway I want to thank everyone for voting, and especially thank the people who commented, because I love this story, how it came out, and getting comments lets me see everyone's opinions, especially if they're as crazy for this couple as I am! So thank you so much for your comments.
