he told her. how it was his grandfather's death anniversary that day. how he really felt.
he said he was sad. that he was insecure, scared. that he often wondered what the others really thought about him.
she listened to him quietly, not knowing how to respond.
she was surprised, that such a bright and cheerful guy could be feeling all those things. that the same boy who smiles wide to her every morning, was a boy who did that only to hide his insecurities.
"i am human after all, i don't just smile all day. i feel sad too..." he had said after wiping off his solemn tears.
but she still wondered, how could such a perfect, amazing, beautiful person like hoseok, think others wouldn't like him?
then, it hit her. his grandfather.
he was bright and cheerful. just like hoseok. he was always there for his friends. just like hoseok. he put the burden on himself and thinks of others before himself, he kept his feelings to himself, he loved others more than he loved himself.
just. like. hoseok.
he took him as an example. he wanted to be just like his grandfather. but he became too much of an influence;
