Adeline Morris was nothing and everything at the same time.

She was nothing but August's neighbor. She was nothing but a girl who would smile at him from time to time only to receive an uninterested frown back.

And yet, she became everything to him.

Just the sound of her name could drive him wild in the most fragile and innocent of ways. Adeline.

She was talkative and nosy, but he liked that. Her hair came in waves that grazed her shoulder like an ocean meeting the shore. No matter how dark her almond eyes were, it was difficult to surpass the curiosity in them. Her petite figure was no match for her cheeky smile, with dimples deepening in her cheeks.

To August, she was magic.

No, she was more than what magic could ever produce or even be.

But then reality would set in, and August would realize that Adeline could never be magic because, unfortunately, she had none. She was inevitably oblivious to the wizard world.

She was Adeline Morris, and she was a Muggle.
