we finally had money to make a homemade dinner

it sounds pretty pathetic,

but i think bills and you eating are my first priorities

we both decided that i would cook, mostly because i remember you burned scrambled eggs in 10th grade

hah, that was funny

i went to the grocery store on my day off (saturday)

i decided that chicken was the best option for tonight

(+ it's the cheapest meat in the store)

i bought other ingredients and decided on a westernized dish, something i learned in school.

when i got home at around 4, i started cooking.

i got excited when i heard the door open and close, and the shuffling of you removing your shoes.

"surprise." i cheekily smiled at you when i saw you at the entryway of our kitchen.

"oh my god, jungkook"

i turned back to the stove and i felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"you're gonna make me burn the food," i laugh at him. he giggled into my neck.

"guess you'll have to eat me instead."

with that, he walked out.
