Once upon a golden morning
I was quietly imploring
Of my will to heed to all the plans desired for the day
But my greatest weakness seized me
Showed me all the things that'd please me
If I'd sit and waste my hours tapping at the bright display
Colors, people, jokes, and games
Doesn't benefit my brain
Instant pleasure
Has no gains
Time is wasted
Done again

Head in clouds and heart misguided
In the wrong have I abided
Each agenda packing silently into my foggy brain
Soon enough my head is bleeding
Satisfaction so misleading
Now these thoughts of mine are bent and I am proud and loud and vain
Every day it seems the same
Expectations down the drain
Drink the cup held in disdain
Have your fill
And bear the pain

Deliverance?
