Chapter 23 - Possessive

"Of course I'll come" I smiled to Josephine , she's one of the sweetest business woman ever

"Hello Joan" I turned to see Lance and I smiled

"Hello Lance"

"Talk to you later Joan" Josephine walked away and waved to me

"Fancy seeing you here" Lance smirked. Lance here has a crush on me. He never stop texting me and kept sending me flowers but he didn't get the signal that I don't like him

"As you can see , the kids are here too" I just answered politely and sipping my champagne

"So you never reply my text" Oh boy.. How am I going to answer that? I might be a badass but I hate hurting someone's feeling by saying rude and bad things

"Of course she won't , she's my girlfriend" Nate sneaked her hand to my waist and kissed my cheek. Nate held me tightly and possessively. He glared at Lance and gave him a killing look

"Girlfriend? Dude you just came out of death" Lance laughed it off

"Why is that a problem?" Nate asked in a cold tone

"Joan is not an easy girl"

"She's not , she just happen to fall for me not some pervert dude like you" Nate glared crazily at him and he pulled me away from Lance. I turned my body to him and gasped to see the corner of his lips had a cut to it

"What happen?" I looked at his face worry and I caressed his cheek

"Nothing"

"Nate.. What happen?" I asked once again looking at him with my if-you-dont-tell-me-I'll-kill-you look

"Nothing" He leaned to me but I put my hand to his lips glaring. Suddenly his eyes wandered around and he immediately held me tightly

"Nate.. uhh"

"I love your dress but I hate when you're wearing it here. People are checking your ass babe" He looked around glaring at the young businessmen who obviously checking me out

"It's a formal event Nate , stop being to possessive" I pushed him away but he immediately caught me again

"How can I not beautiful?" He leaned to me and kissed my cheek

"Don't make me elbow you right now Nathan"

"I miss when you call me that" He smirked and he looked so love struck

"Nate get off" I tried to push him away but it's useless

"No can't do girlfriend"

"Excuse me? Girlfriend?" I raised my eyebrows

"Yes girlfriend"

"You never ask and I never answer Nathan , so I'm not your girlfriend. I'm single" I pushed him away and walked away even though I know he's going to follow me

"Where do you think you're going beautiful?" I elbowed him and he groaned in pain. I turned to him panic and he completely looked in pain

"Is there anything that you hide from me?" I asked piss

"No"

"Okay if you're not going to talk to me then I wi-"

"Please trust me , I don't have anything to hide from you" He held my hands and looked at me begging

"Then what's with the cut a-"

"Your brothers and dad beated him" I turned to Autumn in horror. Not only me but Nate

"What?? Wh- oh shit! Why didn't you tell me?" I looked at Nate disbelief

"You'll be worry. What's the point of telling you?"

"Why did they do?" I asked Autumn

"Pretty bad things" Autumn patted my shoulder and walked away joining the others

"I can't believe that you didn't tell me" I looked at Nate and he pulled me close giving me a hug. Good thing that we're on the corner of the ballroom

"I'm sorry , it's just I don't want you to be worry" He stroked my hair and kissed the side of my head. I released the hug

"What did they do to you?" I looked into his eyes and looked at his cut

"Nothing big , but I got the permission" He smiled and I chuckled

"Can't believe you do that for me"

"I have too , you already did a lot of things for me" He can't stop looking at my lips and I knew he tempt to kiss me

"Let's get out of here" I held his hand and pulled him out from the ballroom. I pulled him out to the small lake to see the moonlight that reflects with the water in the lake

"Beautiful isn't it?" I asked as we both stand side by side

"Yeah" He looked at it

"Joan" He suddenly called

"Hmm"

"I never felt this happy before" I smiled when he stated that

"That's a really good thing" I turned to him and he smiled

"Yeah I know , I never thought I will get this kind of happiness this soon. Especially when you come into my life" He looked at me and held both of my hands. He looked at it and then looked up to me

"I love you so much. I know it's early but I just can't hold it anymore. I love you so much" He said and I can't help but felt the butterflies in my stomach. I felt my heartbeat went crazy too

"So.." I pulled his tie and pulled him closer to me

"You love me?" I asked in a husky tone and I heard he gulp

"Yeah so much" Nate answered

"If I say I want you to get the moon and bring it to me. Will you do it?" I asked and we both locked our eyes together

"I'll buy a rocket this second and get the moon for you" That made me chuckle

"Really?" I asked teasing

"Of course baby" He leaned to me and our lips almost touched

"Kiss me" I said and he crashed his lips to mine. He kissed me slowly and cupped my face. He kissed me deeply and held me tightly. I love being in his arms so much

"Nate" I moaned when Nate start trailing kisses down to my neck and even went to my sensitive spot

"You're so beautiful"

"Nate" I moaned again as he started to trail kiss to my shoulder

"Yes love?"

"I love you too" I said and that made him kissed my lips rough and fast
