After the swings she looked so ill that i convinced her to sit down and drink a water that i purchased for her. though i had been with her for a little over an hour now, i still didn't know why she was so down and upset. so, i asked her. that's when she informed me her girlfriend had left her stranded at the carnival alone, only stopping to correct herself and say ex-girlfriend. i explain to her that i knew how she felt because i was at the carnival to forget about my girlfriend of two years who had dumbed me. she immediately grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the roller coaster. when we got to it she told me that this is how i was going to forget all about her.
