My instincts tell me to go slap that lady as hard as I can.Right now the only thing I could do was cry. I was really losing the man I loved. I start up my Honda and go home. I go into his closet and take all his clothes and lay them on the sidewalk. I start burning them up. Then I see Mrs.Bankston staring at me. I scream to her mind yo own business.I go upstairs and throw out all his stuff.
Four hours later he's home. He's all happy. He makes the comment it smells smokey. I just stare straight ahead. Then he try's to act all sweet. I just told him Id rather be blind than watch you. He stops talking and says what.. "You heard me," I say. Get out and go live with Linda, what you must think I'm stupid I saw you kiss her, I say. He just stands there. "Did I stutter I, get to stepping," I say. He grabs his coat and slams the door on his way out. I laugh in delight.
