When I hear your name,
I can feel my pulse start to race.
My breathing becomes shallow, like I can't breathe the thick air.
It's like your name is in the air and I can't seem to swallow it.
Your name is a bitter and big pill that I haven't learnt to swallow.
My stomach starts to turn and I feel knots starting to form, and they become so painful.
The pain in my stomach seems to dull the pain that's starting to rise in my chest.
Inevitably the pain in my chest grows.
I feel like I can't breathe.
It's getting harder and harder to breathe.
I'm gasping for breath.
My chest feels tight.
A knot is in my chest.
I can feel you, on me and in me.
It's like you're standing over me at all times, not allowing me to eat or sleep.
You've overtaken every part of my life.
