Lies

Softly, I fall alone into the night.

Picture perfect betraying smiles were all that's left in sight.

I said, I'd never leave and you'll never change.

I'm not satisfied even with my own life.

We made plans to grow old.

Believe me, my whole life is in those truths that I told.

Lost in a simple game.

Are we even the same?

As people before this came to light?

You promised to show me your scars.

And the darkness which slowly covers your own life in bars.

I was stubborn and fought to always stay.

I wish I wasn't so innocent and kind.

Am I supposed to be happy?

Everything I ever wanted it came with a price.

Am I supposed to be crying?

When all I ever wanted it came and left me.

Did you even feel my pain?

The dark and vicious death was already at my gain.

You said that you'd die for me.

But it looks like I died instead for nothing.
