There was a girl with a red jacket

She lived next to me,

One day she told me a story

About a magic box,

She woke up to a bang

And found a small crate

Full of amazing new color pencils.

She sat with paper

And drew a  wonderful tree house

She looked up and saw

How it slowly grew off the sheet,

She climbed the fort

And drew a large gorgeous garden

That fill her room.

The girl continued with dice and dolls

Decorating the house,

But after hours the color turned gray

And her smile was a frown,

Monsters started climbing up the ladder

To her tree house

The red jacketed girl was trapped inside.

An eraser in hand

She abolished the goblins and imp

She looked at the box

Tossed the color pencils in the garbage,

Thought of the doodles

And decided, wile standing in a messy room

Normal pencils will do.
