Shiloh, Tatum, Orlon, Oscar and Remi are five siblings fighting the usual: acne, hormones and unrequited love. When their parents go missing and a rift splits the sky in half, they're forced on the run, fleeing a nameless terror, leaving everything they known behind.
Into the mountains, out through the sea - there's nowhere to go but up. As they discover all that lies BEYOND, they must fight back monsters, dreams, crazy ex-boyfriends, secret government groups, conspiracies and a tangled web of secrets.
