"Exactly," he said "he'll pick you up after school and then you're going to stay home with him until I get back. Annie's going to give you some extra homework for the days you're going to miss and I expect it to be done before any TV."
"Yes sir." I said, holding his hand a little tighter. Bucky stopped walking and knelt down so that he was eye level with me.
"It's just for a few days Cecilia." he said softly "I'll be back before you know it and you're going to have so much fun with Wade."
"But you won't be here." I whimpered, hugging him fiercely.
"Hey," Bucky said soothingly "shh, it's going to be OK Doll. It's just a few days. I love you Kiddo."
