I picked up my last check for the summer. "Thank you Jae, enjoy the rest of your summer." Ms.Symons said handing me my check. "You're welcome and you too." I said leaving out the building. I excitedly ran back to my mom's car. "Chick-Fil-A next." My mom said smiling pulling out the parking lot.

School started in a couple weeks, I had raised enough money to go to California. My mom and dad would be paying for the hotel rooms, I just needed enough for my plane ticket. I hadn't told Glizzy I was coming yet, I wanted to make sure it was finalized. A few minutes later we had pulled up to Chick-Fil-A.

I got out the car and hurriedly entered Chick-Fil-A. I went to the back collecting my check, this job wasn't just for the summer I'll be keeping this one throughout the school year. I left out satisfied. I got back in the car. "When are we going?" I asked. "The next available flight." My mom said.

I took my phone from out my purse, texting Natalia.

I turned my phone off, realizing we had got back home. "Come on Jaelynn, let's buy these tickets." My mom said. "Okay." I said smiling. I followed behind my mom once she opened the door. We went upstairs to her room, my dad would handle the hotel rooms and my mom would handle the tickets.

After a while, everything was set. We would be leaving for California on Thursday. Today is Tuesday, we leave in two days. We're staying for a week. I texted Natalia all the information. I went into my room and started picking my outfits out. I packed half the stuff I needed, tomorrow I'll finish the rest.

i'm trying to end this book, so i can start on my other one full time. that's why i did a two month skip. 😚 i'm losing interest too 💀 so chapters might be a lil short, and updates will be slow throughout the week.
