Today was good, full of joy and fun
Running around, swimming and laughing
Hang out with friends seems like the only way to escape
Life is tough but there are many things that effect it
Love and time can help, family and listening can to
But friends and seeing new things it the best way to feel happy
Some people might betray you or turn you away, but true friends listen
On dark days they won't ask if you are okay, they stay and listen.
