The man looks at Barqat and fixes his composure. He goes onto explain, "Mr. Barqat Sheikh, what a surprise! I'm just asking this young lady to leave because she has come in here by accident."

"Why would you think that?" Barqat asks.

"Well, Sir, she evidently cannot afford this." The man laughs, almost mocking her.

Barqat grabs Dunia by the waist and pulls her closer, he could feel her shaking. This action makes the man's eyes so wide that it looks as if his eyeballs were going to pop out of his sockets. Barqat takes her chin and turns it towards him, there's water collecting at the edge of her eyes. This infuriates him, something inside of him goes off like a bomb.

"This young lady, whom you're so certain cannot afford your services, is my incredibly wealthy wife." His jaw is clenching hard.

"I'm so sorry, Sir. You always bring around women who look more of your status and she looked—. It is my mistake."

That comment makes Dunia flinch. She leans closer to Barqat out of embarrassment and hurt. She notices Barqat's grip around her waist tightens, not hurtfully, but protectively.

She looks up to see his eyes are burning with fury and somehow turned even colder. As if one more word from this man would make Barqat take the man's life. She fears this particular look in his eyes, it makes it look like as if he could do anything, whether he knows the consequences or not.

How dare he? He couldn't shut his mouth even after I told him Dunia is my wife. He's going to fucking pay for this shit, Barqat is raging with anger.

"You disrespectful fuck—"

"Barqat!" Dunia covers Barqat's mouth before he could finish his sentence. She's never said his name out loud before. It feels strange coming from her mouth, almost foreign. "It was an innocent mistake, he was just doing his job."

"Mrs. Sheikh is right. I was just making sure everything was in its correct place." His mocking tone just doesn't seem to leave.

Barqat's hands form into fists, "But—"

Dunia knew a public outburst wouldn't do Barqat or Sheikh Industries any good. She holds his face in between her hands and Barqat's temper goes down nearly instantly. He stares into her eyes and something in her calm sparkling brown orbs shuts off his rage. Her soft touch and cautious hold of his face feeds his calm state.

"Listen to me Barqat, it's not worth it. Trust me, it's not worth any trouble." She's begging him to not do anything dumb.

Barqat sighs and Dunia lets her hands drop to her side as she breathes relief. He grabs Dunia's hand and takes her away from the scene.

"Why the hell did you stop me? I could've ruined that bastard." Barqat's voice is quiet but deadly.

"It wasn't worth it! People like him are hopeless!" Dunia tries to reason with him.

"So what? He was a fucking bitch. He wasn't a bitch just to anyone, he was a bitch to a Sheikh, who is also my wife!" It spills out of his mouth before he could stop himself from saying the last part.

Dunia's blinking at him as if she's not sure if she heard right. She could tell he didn't realize what he said either. It just slipped out of his mouth because that's exactly what he was thinking consciously.

"Whatever! I'll get this man fired! And he could take his fucked up attitude somewhere else." Barqat leaves Dunia at the lounge to go to the front desk.

He complains about the man and after threatening to publicize what happened to Dunia, they had no choice but to fire the man. Dunia couldn't help but feel a little happy that Barqat cares enough to do this for her. She didn't expect him to get to worked up over it either. I guess that gives me a little comfort?

They arrive at Bora Bora after a very long flight  and both of them are exhausted. All Dunia wants is to lay down on a nice comfy bed and sleep for 12 hours straight.

Even after being tired to her core, she couldn't help but notice how stunning Bora Bora is. And when they reached their resort, she was sure this is a dream.

When they reach their resort, Dunia became blown away. Their resort is in the middle of the water. Their hut is surrounded by the most clear blue water she's ever seen. It's the prettiest blue, it's so pretty, it makes her want to jump into the water. Then she thinks about how she cannot swim and this is probably not an ideal vacation place for her but she really can't complain because it's drop-dead gorgeous!

There are see-through glass floors all around their little hut. The person giving them a tour tells them how you can swim under the hut to look into your living rooms, bedrooms, et cetera. She wouldn't be able to do that even if she wanted to, she can't swim. There are even a few floor boards that are cut out so you can jump straight into the water from certain rooms, it's crazy!

Dunia notices the other huts nearby are empty. She looks to Barqat, "Where's everyone else? Why is it so empty?"

He raises an eyebrow, as if the answer would be obvious, "My father rented out the whole resort for us. You wouldn't be able to leave without your hijab if there were other people around so he made sure that the staff is all female and no one can book out the place for a week."

"Oh." Dunia is stumped. Barqat's father really doesn't leave any stones unturned. He made sure everything would be perfect. I wonder how much this cost him... he probably spent too much just to make me more comfortable...

"Now, please do not bother me for the rest of the week because I want to actually relax." Barqat quickly changes into his shorts and an airy shirt and jumps into bed to take a nap.

Dunia proceeds to do the same. She takes off her scarf and changes into more comfortable clothes she can sleep in.

She chooses another room to sleep in, which is right beside Barqat's. Hers has those openings where you can see the water through floor. That made her extra happy. It's the little things that can make things joyful. For her, it was how she could see water through the floor.

It's only eight at night but she's sure she can fall asleep right away. As she guessed, she fell asleep the moment her head hit the pillow. The sound of the water and the slow winds became the perfect white noise for her to fall slumber to.

"Ma'am, would you like for me to prepare your bath?" One of the staff members wakes her up.

"No, it's fine. I can do it myself. Please, take some time off." Dunia says with a polite smile. She feels bad for making people do such little tasks for her.

"That's very kind of you, Ma'am. It's our duty to do such things. I shall prepare your bath. Would you like warm water or a little bit hotter?"

Dunia realizes the woman really insisted so she listened, "Warm is good. Thank you so much!"

The woman politely bows and leaves to prepare Dunia's bath.

Dunia looks out the balcony and looks at the beautiful scene in front of her, "Mash'Allah, Allah has made such a heavenly place. I'm so grateful and blessed to be able to visit the natural wonders of this world."

Dunia stares at the water and it's playful, soft waves. For some reason, the longer she looks at the water, the more she wants to jump in. "It doesn't look so deep... maybe a dip near the balcony shouldn't hurt..."

Does she keep forgetting that she cannot swim? Not one bit? Does she forget that she's never even swam in a pool, let alone open water?
