Rescued by Jon and Hannah from s club 7 wattys 2023

Part 2

Octavia was still deciding on her new name cause she wanted a jolly name for herself and out of the box and they were going to let her decide her new last name as well, and she was going to keep Spearritt-Lee cause it fit her to a t and the adoption was almost final, so it was perfect timing for her

"I'm glad she is keeping both our last names for new last name from this tragedy" Hannah says as she was making cookies for her class

"Me too Sapphire name is staying the same cause i like Sapphire for her and it fits her as well cause she is Sapphire with her personality she has cause it is great" he says as he was still playing with her

"I am wondering what name or names she has come up with" Hannah asks as she looks at him

"I know and then we can try each name to see how she likes it then go from there as well" he says as he was looking at her cause he was waiting for her to come with the list on what she wanted for her new name

"I am game for that and then once the adoption is finalize, we can have her name change cause i know this will be a adjustment for her in general to deal with cause she has to get use to it, and we have to get use to it as well" Hannah says as she looks at Jon

"She has been a great kid not getting into much trouble except for school, and that was for defense cause the kid picked on her and i want these girls to fight" he says as he was still playing with the baby

"Just for defense against bullies cause bullies need a taste of their own medicine as well" Hannah says as Octavia came down with the list of names she had came up with

"Hey Octavia" Hannah says as she looks at the little girl

"Hey..........mommy" Octavia says as she looks at her

"Sweetie it's okay if you want to call me that instead of Hannah cause i am fine with either" Hannah says as she came over to hug the little girl, and make it all better for her

"Then you can call me daddy if you want" Jon says as he was going to hold her

Octavia nods as she looks at him

They hug it out together

"Have you decided on a name?" Hannah asks her

"Solstice" Octavia says to them

"That is a pretty name" he says to her

"Yeah, i love it and it fits you" Hannah says as she looks at her

"Now to get it set in stone" he says as he was going to call the courthouse and say the name

"Yup then we go from there I guess I am getting excited for the holidays with the girls cause this is going to be the first since we got them and everything else as well cause Solstice is going to have a hard time with processing this and being in school" Hannah says as she looks at him

"I'm excited too I can't wait to take the girls to see Santa and see what their reactions are with him, and everything too cause that is going to be exciting in itself" he said to her cause he was excited as well for the girls to see Santa Clause

"I know I can't wait either Rachel is having a Christmas reunion and she wants us to bring the girls and they can play and hang out. She is going to get them gifts as well, so they can feel apart of the celebration as well" Hannah tells him

"That I am looking forward to with the girls cause they love to play with Rachel kids and become friends with them. Solstice is excited already cause she gets to see her friend again" he says when he heard the little girl come running cause she heard something about Rachel house and Christmas of course

Sapphire, you get to see all your aunts and your uncles that love you so much, and every time they see you, they want to kiss you and love on you cause you are so little" Hannah says as she looks at the baby that was happy that she was going to see her extended family for the holidays, and she was going to have a great first Christmas with her new parents

Jon and Hannah wrapped the girls' gifts once they went to bed that night cause the next day, they were going to help others in need and go see Santa for the very first time. Sapphire was going to be scared for sure cause Santa was a stranger and she doesn't do good or well with strangers. Jon and Hannah know from the doctor's visit they did with her, and she was not a happy camper at all, and when they do photo sessions with the girls to document them growing up she cries. When they see their old band mates she cries when someone else is holding her, so she is at a phase where she hates strangers right now. Solstice is different then her sister she loves Santa cause she visited him several times without her sister or her mom or dad there. She always tells Santa to bring them something cause they are such great parents to her, and they deserve something for Christmas

(Later)

"You girls look very pretty in your dresses" he says when he sees them come down in their Christmas dresses cause they were going to see Santa and get their picture taken to be hanged on the wall

"Thank you" Solstice says to him

"Let's get going Santa is waiting for us" Hannah says to the girls

Jon and Hannah buckled the girls in so they could head to the mall to get pictures taken

Solstice was a happy camper that she was going to tell Santa what she wanted for Christmas that year cause she has been an exceptionally good girl that year

(Mall)

"Let's see where Santa is" Jon says as they entered the mall to see Santa

They were able to locate him really easy and they were going to head there and see him

"Maybe the train can take us to him cause it is going to be easier on all of us" Hannah says as she was seeing the train

"Please daddy" Solstice says as she asks him

"Okay since you asked nicely" he says as they were going to take the train to see Santa

All of them boarded the train and they were going to go see Santa and she was going to tell him her list of what she wanted for Christmas that year

(Santa palace)

"Go princess" he says as he looks at her as she went up to see Santa

Solstice goes up to see him cause she was super excited to tell him what she wanted for Christmas that year

"Looks like there is a line" Hannah says as she was holding the baby

"Not too bad i want her to be a big girl though" he says as he was looking at the little girl who waved to her parents

"Me too she has grown-up quite a lot, but she still has the battle scars from that night too" Hannah tells him

"Yeah, she does, and she has overcome a lot this year" he says as he was looking at Solstice as she was waiting patiently to see Santa

"She has for sure" Hannah says as she was looking at Solstice who was going to take her turn and then she was going to go down the slide

(Weeks later)

It was New Year's Eve and Solstice wanted to stay up and watch the ball drop cause it was exciting and Jon and Hannah were going to let her, and they were going to spend the night at Rachel's house cause Rachel invited them over to celebrate and they were going to stay the night cause the roads were going to be too dangerous for them to go home, and Jon and Hannah was okay with that

"Solstice did you have a good Christmas?" Rachel asks her

"Yeah i got a lot of toys, clothes and lots more" Solstice says as she was playing with Rachel's daughter at the moment while Jon and Hannah was with Sapphire cause she was not feeling the best right now, and they figured she came down with the bug that had been going around or she could be getting RSV if she was born a little early, and that worried them cause she was extra cuddly for some reason and she was stuffed up as well so they were keeping an eye on her and making sure Solstice had fun as well cause they didn't want to make her upset if they had to stay home
