My name is Nicole Grant I'm 17 years old and a junior in high school. I lived in Atlanta all my life until my mom got a new job in Jesup, Ga as the Sheriff. I didn't want to leave Atlanta it was about to be my senior year. I wanted to graduate with my childhood friends but my mom packed us up and moved. August 12, 2016 was my first day at Wayne County High School. My first class was Anatomy in room 224 and the teacher was Mrs. Graham. I walked in the classroom and I sat down in the back. I didn't want anybody to talk to me. I was still upset I was even in this country ass town. Soon as I sat down a girl turned around and said " yasss bitch, your hair is slayed. You must be new here? Cause I know everybody in this school ". I thought to myself like " of course you do this school ain't but so big". I laughed and said thank you , yeah I'm new here. My name is Nicole".  She said " oh everybody got that name but my name Jasmine but they call me Jas for short. I said "okay bitch and everybody name ain't Jasmine". She laughed and said " you right" and snatched my phone out my hand. I should have two pieced the bitch but I didn't. Jasmine put her number in it and said " text me , we should hang out sometime". The teacher walked in and she turned around. My next classes were pretty much boring and I was ready to go home. The bell ring and I started walking to my car. The students were running around and talking. I turned around and a boy knocked my books out of my hands. I said " WTF watch wh..." I couldn't even finished my sentence. He bent down to pick my books up and when he lifted his head up I noticed he was fine as fuck . He was light skin with grey eyes , braces and dimples on both side of his face. I figured he was a basketball player cause he had a bag and he was tall. He said " my bad shorty" in that country ass accent but it was cute. I replied " you good don't let it happen again". He said " you the new girl huh?" . I laughed and said how did you know? Let me guess you know everybody in this little ass town". He smiled and said "ya I run jesup" and " my name Justin, what's your name?". I said " you don't need to know my name cause you won't be using it". He looked down at my books and my name was on the front. He said " Nicole? I like that and I snatched my books out his hand. I said  "bye Justin" I knew I had to play hard to get cause I was sure girls always fall for his charm. I walked off and he yelled " you not going to take my number , snap or nothing ?"I turned around smiled at him and kept walking to my car but of course it wouldn't be the last time I saw Justin. When I got home it was a note and a plate wrapped in foil on the dinner table. I already knew that meant my mom wouldn't be home for dinner. I didn't wanna be in house bored. So , I picked my phone up and texted Jasmine. I asked her what the move was and she instantly hit me back and told me to come over. I went over and we just sat in her room and smoked a couple of blunts. Me and Jasmine clicked instantly I loved our vibe. I left leave jasmines house around 9:30 that night. I didn't head straight home though I went to the gas station. When I got out the car I heard someone screaming "Nicole? Nicole ?". I knew who it was from the voice it was Justin's fine ass. I turned around and he was standing in my face. I said " back up and don't be screaming my name like that.". He laughed and replied " why you so damn mean?". I said " I'm not" and He said give me you're number then". I gave him my number and said " alright get out my face I've got to go get gas". I was walking off when I heard my phone ringing. I picked it up and it was Justin on the other line. I said " why are you calling me?"and he replied " I had to make sure you ain't give me the wrong number." I hung up and went into the store. I pumped my gas and went home. Soon as I got there I took a shower and went to bed. The next day I did the exact same thing. I went to school, went to Jasmine house and I went home. Only one thing was different I had been texting Justin all day. September 11, 2016 was the first time me and Justin had hung out. We had been talking for a month and he walked me to my car every day after school. I liked him and I figured he liked me too. Well at least I was hoping he liked me back. He come over after basketball practice and my mom wasn't home. We smoked a few blunts laughed and then it got quiet for a few seconds, until Justin said " So, where's your little boyfriend ? I know you got one". I laughed and said " Nigga , if I had a boyfriend you wouldn't be here". Justin smirked and said " So, you loyal?". I said "Find out" and I winked. He leaned over and kissed me. Justin started rubbing on my thigh and kissing my neck. I let him for a while but then I stopped him. I said " Uh Justin im a virgin " he moved his hands quickly and said "Oh my bad, we can wait then". I didn't expect him to say that and for some reason it turned me on more then I already was. I kissed him and he said he had to go. He kissed me back and asked was I going to the party tonight. I said "No, I got homework." and I was walking him out the door when Jasmine called and said she was almost to my house. She was picking up some money she asked me to borrow. When she was pulling up Justin was out the driveway going the other way. She asked me "Who is that leaving " and I said "Just my lil boo" and she took the money and left. The weekend went by and I hadn't heard from Jasmine. Justin came over the next day though after practice. He wanted to see me Sunday too but my mom wanted to spend quality time. So, I didn't see him anymore that weekend. Monday morning came and I was sitting in the cafeteria waiting on Jasmine like I did every morning. She walked over and said " Bitch, you fucked my nigga?". I said " what?" and she got louder and said " BITCH YOU FUCKED MY NIGGA!" Jasmine knew I was a virgin and I hadn't had sex before. I figured she was joking so I laughed and said " Jasmine "stop playing everybody is looking". She said " ain't nobody playing bitch you fucked Justin ?" I was confused I said " Justin?" I remembered Jasmine telling me she had a on and off again boyfriend but she never gave me a name. She replied " oh bitch now you don't know Justin? I know that was his car leaving your house". I said " It was Justin but we didn't have sex ". I'm guessing that pissed her off cause she reached across the table and punched me in the face. I stood up and pushed the table into her stomach. She fell on the floor and I jumped across the table and preceded to beat her ass. At this point I didn't care that she had been my only first friend for the last two months. The bitch put her hands on me and I didn't tolerate nobody touching me. The police ran in there and starting trying to pull us apart. She was still holding onto my hair when they finally pulled me off of her. We both got suspended for five days. The same day I heard a knock on the door I thought it was Jasmine coming to get her ass beat again. So I tied my hair up and opened the door but it was Justin . He grabbed my face and said " Baby , I'm sorr.." I said don't "Baby I'm sorry me! Why are you even here?". Justin said " I promise I haven't talked to that girl since we broke up six months ago Nicole". He continued " she's crazy" I laughed cause he was right she was crazy. I let him come in and we talked and he told me the truth reason they weren't together anymore. I believed him cause Jasmine had told me she fought every girl he tried to date after her. I wasn't scared though and I wasn't going to let Jasmine run me away. I told Justin I forgave him and he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said "yes" I didn't feel like I owed Jasmine anything after she put her hands on me. Two months had went before I heard from Jasmine again. The school had even switched the class we had together. It was as Dec 13, 2016 and we were about to get out for Christmas break. She texted me and said " I'm sorry , I know I was wrong. I never told you Justin's name so how would you have known. You're were new here after all". I told Justin I was thinking about texting back and he said he didn't think it was a good idea but it was my life. By third block I texted back and said " I forgive you , I can't lie. I missed you, Jas.". Jasmine texted fast it was like before I even pressed sent. Her message was coming back in " She said " I missed you too. You were my only friend and I ruined it." She also asked me to come over and talk things out. I said yes but I told Justin I was going over there after school. He said he'd be in practice and to call him if anything went wrong. The bell rung and Justin walked me to my car. He said he loved me and he gave me a kiss. I went home first and I put my things in the house. I texted Jasmine and told her I was "On my way". She texted back and said " Just walk in. The door is open". I got to Jasmines house around 5:30 and I opened the door. I screamed out " Jas..." and her and four other girls walked out. I had seen the girls at school but I didn't know them. I said " oh hey ya.." next thing I know all of them ran towards and started jumping me. Jasmine said " Yeah bitch you thought it was over? " I could feel one of them kicking me in my head over and over. The other were punching me in my face, stomach and stomping my leg. Blood was pouring out everywhere and then I heard Jasmine say " okay that's enough, hold up". My vision was blurry but I could see someone walking to the kitchen. I turned to get up to walk out the house. I built up all my strength and got to the door. I was turning the knob when I felt a sharp object piercing into my skin. I kept feeling the object going in and out of my lower back. I fell and hit my head on the door knob and Jasmine got on top of me. I could see her stabbing me over and over. The last thing I heard was " Bitch, going to take my man and think she gonna get away with it". On December 13, 2016 I almost died on my friends living room floor.
