This book idea is a work of genius (as expected of the same author who wrote My Disciple Died Yet Again). The synopsis is a little confusing, so I'll give a better idea of what kind of action is going on.
Imagine that a man-made virus broke out and contaminated almost all life on Earth. The only way for the human survivors to continue living was to have themselves turned into vampires by other vampires. But if everyone was now a vampire and all the animals on Earth eventually died off, what would these indestructible vampires (aka bloodlings) have left to feed on and sustain themselves? Just as all hope was lost and they were about to go into a long hibernation, aliens came from outer space! The aliens thought they could colonize Earth but didn't know they had accidentally served themselves on a silver platter for the starving bloodlings. After annihilating the aliens and drinking their blood, which they had cooked hundreds of different ways, the bloodlings grew bored and decided to take the dead aliens' spaceships and explore the galaxy, going from planet to planet on a food tour to sample the blood of all the different kinds of species in the galaxy. This is how fear of the bloodlings spread far and wide and they became the rulers of the galaxy.
The MC was sleeping the whole time during all of this so you can imagine her surprise when she woke up to all this and discovered that she was a sort of princess/ancestress to all these feared bloodlings. The Male Lead is the all-powerful king of all these vampires and also her 'dad' (because he's the one who supposedly turned her into a vampire). Don't mistake him for the cold, domineering, emotionless alpha type though. He is sort of that but also much more (think of Yu Yan from My Disciple, the author's other book).
I don't think I really have to say much more to convince you that this is a work of genius. If you're looking to have a good laugh and thought the above description was a bit amusing, your best bet with C-novels is this one.
