Kaylen P.O.V

I strapped up Nyny and Kailey in the car then drove off.

I pulled up at Keke house and seen a familiar car in the drive way

I got out the car and grabbed Kailey and her bag

"Daddy I got to go pee" Nyny said

"Okay, come on. I'll ask Keke if you can use her bathroom" I said

She nodded her head and got out the car. We walked up to the house and Nyny knocked on the door. Keke opened and smiled at the girls

"Mommy" Kailey said excitingly

"Hey baby, hey Nyny" she said

"Hey Keke. Can I please use your bathroom" Nyny asked doing her little potty dance

"Yea. Your momma in the livingroom" Keke said

When she said that Nyny ran in the house

"La'Nya in there" I asked

Keke looked at me up and down

"Tell her to come out here. I need to talk to her" I said

She stared at me then closed the door.

"Is she going to get her or no" I mumbled

A couple of seconds later La'Nya came outside

"What the fuck you want Kaylen" she asked mugging me

"I want to talk to you about LaMarcus" I said

She rolled her eyes

"What about him" she asked

"I want to be in his life" I said

She scoffs

"No, you chose not to be in his life when you left 2 years ago and when you made the last decision two days ago" she said

She was about to go back in the house until I grabbed her hand gently

"Please. I want to be there for my son and........ I want to be with you La'Nya" I said

She turned around and looked at me

"What about your little wife" she asked crossing her arms over her chest

"We broke up because she wanted me to leave out off Ny'Airah life and I wasn't going to let that happen. La'Nya, please give me a chance" I said

"You lost your chance when you left me and started a whole new life with another woman" she said then walked in the house and slammed the door

I sighed and walked to my car and got inside.

She might be mad now but imma still try my hardest to get her back.

La'Nya P.O.V

"What he had to tell you" Keke asked

"Bitch he trying to I guess be in LaMarcus life and trying to get back with me" I said

"What you tell him" she said seating next to me on the couch

"I told him no about both. And to be honest I honestly don't know if I made the right choice or not about him and LaMarcus" I said

"Look I don't like Kaylen my damn self but it's a good thing when your baby's father wants to be in your kids life. Don't let yall relationship affects your sons relationship with him" she said

I sighed

"But two days ago he said he don't even know that LaMarcus really his" I said

"Yea, and he's a bitch for that but he want to step up. Let him" she said

I rubbed my hand on the side of my face and sighed. I honestly don't know what to do right now

I put the kids straight to bed as I walked in my house. I went to my room and sat down on my bed and sighed

I grabbed my phone out my pocket and called up Kaylen

"Hello" he said in a sleepy tone "look if you really want to step up in LaMarcus life then I'm going to let you, but I'm not going back out with you, our love is toxic and for us to work things out is by not being together" I said. I heard him blow out a deep breath "ight, I don't care if you think our love is toxic. I will still love you. I'm still in love with you.... I'll be over at your place to meet LaMarcus. Goodnight" he said then hung up

I looked at the phone with lost of words. Honestly I wouldn't say I don't love Kaylen because I got love for him but as for being in love with him im not and I don't know when he is going to understand that.
