If the meeting wouldn't go as planned. If they would betray us and take guns or if they didn't agree or couldn't come to terms, a war would break out. Non of us wanted a war, but if it was the only option, we would fight until there would be no man left standing.

"We have to try to come to terms with them, so don't give them everything or take too much of them in the exchange. If they DO open fire or attack in a different way, don't try anything, just leave as fast as possible. We've decided to talk in the restaurant, so if they try anything, we always have back-up at our disposal and last, but defnantly not least, keep calm, don't loose your temper or get angry with them, no matter what. I don't want any outburst, talking shit under your breaths or fighting over anything! That's for both of you, because they WILL take it personal and that will determine everything! So whatever you have to say, keep it in and do with it whatever you want with it after we're done, but do wait until after they are all gone." My father's speech before we went in.

When Dante opened the door, the Monti's had already claimed their side of the table. Father in the middle, oldest son on his right and Enzo, the youngest son, on his left. Enzo looked at me and Dante with hate in his eyes and then whispered something into his father's ear.

My father noticed the whispering and spoke out about it.
"I hope that we can talk in peace, with no casualties or problems, but trust and friendship, so please just say what you want to everyone, instead of just to eachother. Thank you."

"I said that your sons we're the ones giving the order to beat me up and that you better find a way to keep them in line!" Enzo spoke out.

"Yes, and I can assure you that they have had a suiting punishment. So now that's out of the way, let's get down to buissnes." Father replied calmly.
We didn't get punished, because my father agreed with what we did, but he wasn't lying, because that was according to him a suiting punishment.

"Yes I agree." Florance Monti, the father, said as we sat down opposite of them.

Dad in the middle, Dante on the right and me on the left, matching the Monti's posistion.

Dante sat opposite of Enzo and I sat opposite to his brother Eduardo.

The conversation went as planned for most of the time, just they would, like dad had already anticipated, claim and ask for too much, so we couldn't really get to an outcome.

It took a total of 3 hours, saying sorry 5 times, about 20 life threatens from both sides, 1 empty facility that we didn't really use anymore and all of our honor to get to a final conclusion, but we got there.

Even tho the fight was over, it didn't mean our families were friends now. If something would go wrong with the deal, anything happened again or someone would say something wrong, then they would probably not talk it out as easily.

After the meeting, I went back to Eden's.

From the outside, I could already tell it was busier than usual... and not just a bit, the entire place seemed crowded.

I went in with a smile on my face, hoping what I saw was actually true, but my smile quickly got turned upside down.

About a dozen of armed men stood spreaded around the room, holding customers at gunpoint.
A group of them stood with their guns pointed around the employees. Somewhere close to the way out, Tony was held by his collar with a gun against his head.

The moment I walked in, all the guns went straight to my face.

"Dom! Fuck!" Tony shouted, before he got pushed and pulled by his collar in a way to tell he has to shut up.
