----------------Los Angeles, California.
------------------------- MVO Building agency( Same afternoon).
I never imagined this was what she was going through. I didn't even know what to think or do. It must hurt her so much. I had to pour out all my anger on him after I heard what she said to David. She wanted me and my father to reconcile, that was why she turned down my idea of going to the police station. She had already found the culprit. And it was David. I really couldn't believe after all what he did to my mother, he still had the guts to abuse someone else's child, he took her away from her parents and is denying it. I could feel Faryah's pain right now. It should really hurt a lot. " I didn't want you to find out" she cried onto my chest as I patted her hair and back in console. " You should've told me. It would have been easier for us" I answered as I kissed her head. " He still denied it, all I wanted was to know who my true parents are, that was all, but now Khalid, I am sorry, I am going to fight for Justice for what he did to me" she said as she took her head out of my chest and I helped her clean her eyes. " I'll make sure it happens" I replied and cleaned her eyes. " I thought your father was a changed man, I thought if he could just give me the answers I needed I would just forgive him and forget. But he is denying it and making me more angry, he knows the truth but is keeping it from me. He's going to regret this" she revealed as she looked towards the building.
" Calm down honey, come I'll take you home, you need rest" I said as I pulled her towards my car. " I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to find out like this, all of you. I wanted to handle it my way, what are you even doing here?" she asked as my car was brought to me and I helped her sit in it.
" We were supposed to be having a meeting with them for a new investment" It was supposed to help us a great deal in our launch. But we were going to find another way. We always did. " You must've just lost a lot of money right?, I'm sorry" She said as I drove out of the company. " Your safety means more to me than any amount of money Faryah. I still have a lot to attend to in the office, so I'll take you home, Ethan will come over and after your class, you'll rest, I'll be back after 8:00pm okay" I said as I continued driving. Brandon and GrandPa Julius had to be at the company still. " Okay" She answered and sighed.
I had to talk to David to find out more about what he did to Faryah. She believed he wasn't lying and we were definitely going to get to the bottom of this. I myself was going to pursue this case and make sure he rots in jail. We got home and I escorted Faryah in. " Be safe okay" She said as she paused to give me a warm tight hug. " I will be" I answered as I responded to her hug. " Thanks again, I'll prepare you a perfect for your dinner tonight, be home early" She was smiling again. I really admired how strong my wife was. " Sure" I answered and smiled back. " Go on, you still have work to do " She said as I held her hand. I wanted to stay here with her, longer. " Bye" I said as I kissed her forehead and turned to leave. A lot of work was waiting for me in the office.
7:00pm
Making sure I was done for the day in choosing the models, listening to the event proposals and preparing the guest list, I decided to the call up David. I had to control myself for Faryah, I needed to be cool and get what I needed to get from him. " Hello?" I heard his deep voice call on the other side of the phone. " Come over to the cafe we met yesterday, I'll meet you there in thirty minutes" I answered and ended the call. I didn't want to hear his voice for long.
I turned off my laptop and kept all my files in where they belong. My secretary was already gone and pretty much everyone was gone too. I walked out of my office and headed for garage. All I wanted was to go home and be with my wife.
Ritas Coffee
I knew I could do this. I could control myself. It was only for Faryah's peace of mind. I sat in front of him as I took in a deep breath and let it out almost immediately. I still couldn't believe he was my father. I hid the anger that was boiling up inside of me as I faced him with my eyes looking at every inch of his bruised face. Just like how Mother's face was years ago.
