We were at our last biology class, to complete this project, it was due in 2 days.
And me & Joshua were still a little behind the others.
Mrs ly noticed this and called us for a chat.
"Hey y/n and Joshua you guys aren't even close to being done, you both will have to come and stay with me at lunch today in the library and complete it there" she said quite annoyed before stomping off to continue supervising the rest of the class.
"Well I guess we have our work cut out for us" Joshua cheerfully said trying to build small talk. I ended it with a bored 'yea'.
He seemed annoyed again by the end of the period.
But this time really annoyed.
Pissed even.
Although I understood because I was blowing him off like this but I had to.
There was just no other way.
