sakura had went back to her seat quietly and ready to watch the performance some of the korean trainees had prepared
she had seen the screen and it said 'WM Entertainment'
she had previously researched some of the trainees that were going to be in produce48 with her and found out that they were in the same company as Oh My Girl
"next trainees, please come out"
"what?!" lee hongki, another mentor in produce48, said
"ahhhh!" bae yoonjung gasped in realization
"you look really familiar, trainee lee chaeyeon," lee hongki said though the mic
"yes, i was on a show called 'sixteen'" lee chaeyeon replied
"and 'k-pop star' too?" lee hongki asked
"yes," lee chaeyeon replied
sakura gasped in realization, sixteen was a survival show that had made twice, a famous k-pop group in korea and worldwide
sakura has watched sixteen, but could not find any memory of the trainee, lee chaeyeon
"i had joined jyp because of my appearance on 'k-pop star,' and not long after i joined jyp, they had a survival show, 'sixteen' and i was the first to be eliminated," chaeyeon said
"may i ask, why you left jyp?" lee hongki asked
"jyp had told me and my sister, lee chaeryeong, that he would not debut us together," chaeyeon said "and in order for my little sister to debut, i had decided to leave the company"
sakura heard gasps around the room, she herself gasped too, unbelieving the fact that chaeyeon had sacrificed a chance to debut just so her sister could debut
sakura asked herself just how selfless this girl can be, sakura herself had already debuted but had came here to debut again
"ahh," lee hongki replied
"do you have any regrets?" lee seunggi, the national representative of produce48, asked
"um, on the show 'sixteen,' i wasn't able to show my skills at all, so i hope this time i will show my skills without regrets," chaeyeon had hesitated
"well then, show us what you got," lee hongki said
"okay," the wm trainees replied
