"I...UH..." SHE mumbles as she stares at us, "Andrea was wanting to get some pictures before the end of the night. I just thought I'd let you guys know."

I call out to her, "Emily—"

She quickly scurries back inside and the doors slams shut behind her. I let out a heavy sigh as I take a step towards the doors but Chase grabs onto my arm.

"You don't have you explain yourself to her, Hayden." Chase says as he stares up at me, "I told her how I felt for you when I picked her up earlier this evening. This shouldn't surprise her."

"But I didn't tell her. She just saw your hands all on my ass and I should've let her know that what was going on between us was more important than I led on." I explain as I glance between Chase and the door, "I need to make sure she doesn't get the wrong idea—that I lied to her." 

"Your kindness terrifies me." Chase explains as he wraps a hand around the  back of my neck, "It surprises the shit out of me everytime because I'm not use to it." 

"Ha ha, you are so funny." I laugh sarcastically and roll my eyes as I lean down and peck his lips, "I'll met you back inside." 

"I just want to go back to the hotel." Chase whines like an adorable little child and I giggle while running a hand through his hair. 

"I'll be quick and then we can leave." I say before taking a step back and leaving his arms. I pick up the front of my dress as I quickly run after Emily. When I stumble inside, I look left and right before deciding to check the nearest female bathroom. 

And call me Sherlock fucking Holmes because that's where I found her. 

She was standing at the sink, her eyes red from crying and she was wiping the running makeup for her cheeks. She stares at me through the reflection of the mirror when I enter. 

I offer a soft smile, "Hey, Emily." 

"I'm sorry for barging in on you two." Emily apologises as she drops her eyes from mine. I awkwardly step towards her, not sure how to deal with this situation. "Andrea thought you guys were fighting and wanted to get pictures. I offered to find you guys." 

"No, I'm the one who's sorry. I didn't mean for you to find out that way. I didn't know we were going to get back together, let alone tonight of all nights." I explain as I walk over to the vanity and lean against it beside her. "But I hope you do respect that we're in a relationship now." 

"Of course." Emily sniffles as she smiles softly at me, "Why wouldn't I?" 

Ah, maybe the fact that you've been clinging onto Chase even though he told you he had feelings for me. I keep my catty thoughts at bay and instead smile up at her. 

"I don't know," I shrug casually before my smile becomes a little too sweet to be genuine,  "I was just thinking how it would just be a real shame if anything got in my way. You understand, right?"
