"let's play hide & go seek" she said
"you count & I'll hide"So, i counted to 10
and of i ran
In search of my little friend
Maybe behind the wall
or inside the slide? You sure know how to hide
I scratched my hide
& thought again,
where is my little friend?Under the big tree!
There she must be
Surely, her i found.Under a tree without a sound
There she floated
high above the ground
A necklace of pain
hugging her throatWhat happened to my little friend?
The girl i used to know.
The happy little girl
she disguised to beWhy, my little friend?
why have you
hidden your pain from meAll her life
was about a game
A tormented game
of hide & go seekShe searched & searched
but she never
found herself
Now lost she will be
for all eternityOh, my little friend
if only i would
have known
you should not
have been alone
I would have
searched and you have been foundNow i watch
as my little friend
is lowere
in to the ground
