Ch. 3 "Daddy"

Lilly POV

The past few weeks Mr Bruce has shown me all kinds of things I didn't know, showing me things like how to use silverware to eat, like spoons knives and forks,

What shrimp is, how to read, and write, how to speak proper english, how to bathe properly how to get dressed,

Speak other languages,

At first I wasn't sure if I could trust him, but now I trust him with my life, I'm not as hesitant anymore now that we spent more time together,

He talks about this man the hulk that is inside of him, so I guess he is like me a little, I have an animal instead, my animal has a small temper also,

Right now me and Bruce are walking down the streets of India, I am holding his big hand with my little one, my arm raised up, as I'm holding his hand, since I'm so small,

Then we see the hunters that were after me in a group, I involuntarily squeezed his hand, He looked down at me,

"You alright Lilly?" He asked

"Those people over there, they're scary especially with those weapons," I said

"It's alright Lilly they won't be hurting you, I promise," He said looking down at me, smiling

"I promise I won't let anything happen to you again," He said keeling in front of me,

"Thank you Daddy," I said hugging him

He seemed surprised by the action then I realized what I said and let him go,

"S-Sorry.." I mumbled

He chuckled,

"It's alright you can call me daddy if you want, since I've been taking care of you like one," He said tucking my hair behind my ear,

I felt my face get red, but I nodded,

We continued walking since we didn't really have anything to do,

Then a woman came running up to him speaking really fast in Another language , and he told her to slow down,

But bottom line she said that her village wasn't too far and a bunch of people have fallen sick with the same symptoms and they are close to death,

"Come on Lilly we have to move fast," He said picking me up, as he followed the woman fast,

We walked into a rundown house up the stairs there were multiple adults sick and laying on the ground covered up with blankets and cloths on their heads,

Daddy which is surprising I'm saying, he set me down, kneeling in front of me,

"Lilly sweetheart, I want you to wait downstairs just in case okay," He said

I nodded and walked down the stairs and waited on the couch, I think he was worried I would catch whatever was going around this village,

So as I sat there I began to ponder about my life right now, if it wasn't for Daddy I wouldn't be here, he saved my life, I owe him my life even though I'm only four, my real parents left me on a stump to fend for myself,

I didn't leave the stump for months only to find food, But I would stay near by hoping and waiting for them to come back, but they never did,

Then those people from the village I was stealing from came into my cave while I was sleeping in my tiger form and they attacked me, and that's when I met daddy, I thought as I had my elbow on my thigh and my hand in my palm,

Daddy rushes down the stairs with a girl,

"Come on Lilly we need to help her papa," He said taking my hand,

We follow her for a while when we enter the house, she is gone,

"Should have gotten paid up front huh Lilly," He said looking down at me,

I nodded smiling up at him as my eyes glowed in the night since I could see in the mirror not far,

"You know for a man who's supposed to be avoiding stress you picked a hell of a place to settle," A woman with short red hair said

Daddy quickly pushed me behind him,
