Genevieve's POV
I sat with Bella and placed her head on my lap. I ran my fingers through her hair, as she played with my pant leg.
"Thank you"Bella whispers
"For what?"I asked her
"For sticking up for me. You didn't need to do that"Bella tells me
"I may not have to, but I wanted to. It's your decision, and it's what you want. It may not be the best decisions, but I won't stop you from making them, even if they are stupid"I told her
Bella laughed making me laugh too. Bella sat up and hugged me close to her.
"I just want you to be happy. I just hope that I won't lose you. I don't know what I would do if I lost you"I told her
"You won't lose me. I would never leave without a fight"Bella says
"Because of your stubbornness, "I said
We laughed at my words, as we heard footsteps head this way. Carlisle held his hand out for me to grab, making me stare at it. Bella scooted over so I could get up. I got up and walked over to him, and I grabbed his hand. Carlisle held my hand in his and lead me to his office.
I walked over to his office chair and sat down. I looked at him, which he was still standing at the door. He then walked over to me, making me look up at him.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for hurting your feelings and what happened earlier."Carlisle tells me
"It's ok, Lile. I know you didn't mean it. Just don't do it again"I told him
Carlisle laughs at the nickname I had given him. He then leaned down and kissed me. I placed my hand on his cheek, as he placed his hand on my neck. We pulled away and smiled at each other.
"Lile?"Carlisle asks
"Alice told me that you call me Gennie, so why not give you a nickname as well?"I said shrugging my shoulders
"I like it. Never had a nickname before"Carlisle says
"Never?"I asked
Carlisle shook his head at me. I frowned confused on why. Carlisle must've been a tricky name to say. And people must have had to have thought of a nickname.
"Well, get used to it because it's never going away"I told him
My phone then goes off, it was on the office desk. I grabbed it, making Carlisle back up. I looked at the contact I.D and it was Seth. I answered it.
"Seth?"I asked
"We need to talk!"Seth tells me concerned and afraid
"What about?"I asked leaning forward
"Just meet me in the woods, where we all trained"Seth tells me
"Ok. I'll be there"I told him
I took my phone away from my ear, and hung up. I got up from the office chair, and walked out of the room. I knew Carlisle was walking behind me, and I knew the family were watching me.
"Viv, where are you going?"Bella asks me
"I need to go talk to Seth. I'll be back, I promise"I told her
"Be safe"Carlisle tells me grabbing my arm
"I will. Seth, wouldn't hurt me" I told him
Carlisle kissed my head, before letting me leave. I smiled, before leaving for the woods. I sped to the training area to where Seth was, but he wasn't alone. Leah was there, too.
"Hey, what's up?"I asked them
"Sam wants to kill Bella and the baby"Leah tells me
"What!?"I asked
"We thought that they wouldn't because they are close friends with you, but they are. They aren't stopping"Seth tells me
"Thanks for telling me. How did you find out?"I asked
"After Jacob left the Cullen's, he phased and we saw all his thoughts," Seth tells me
"I'm going to kill him!"I said angrily
"Get in line"Leah mutters
I then sped off in anger. I arrived at the house and walked in. Jacob was there, making me angry. I sped over to him and pinned him to the wall.
"You're going to let Sam and the pack kill my sister and my niece or nephew!?"I asked anger laced in my voice
"Viv!"Bella called out
"How'd you know? You weren't here when I told them"Jacob says wincing at my strength
"Seth and Leah told me. So your not going to do anything to make them stop? You could, at least, kept your thoughts to yourself, but no. Now, I have to worry for my sister, my family, and my niece or nephew"I said angry
"Look, I'm sorry. But Sam's lost the element of surprise"Jacob tells me
"What?"I asked letting go of him
Carlisle grabbed me and held me close. I still had anger on my face after hearing those words.
"He doesn't want to take you on outnumbered, so he's not gonna come at you head-on. He's got the place surrounded and he'll wait for his opportunity."Jacob tells us
"We won't get through without a fight," Emmett says
"No fights," Esme says
"We won't be the ones to break the treaty," Daniel says wrapping his arm around Esme's shoulder
"The treaty is void, at least, in Sam's mind," Jacob says
"Not in ours," Esme says
"Carlisle, none of us have hunted in weeks," Emmett says
"We'll make do"Esme says
"You've done us good service, Jacob. Thank you"Carlisle says to him

I watched outside, hoping to see Sam and the pack. I didn't understand why they wanted to kill Bella or my niece. I never told anyone what gender the baby was, but I knew Edward knew because he probably read mine or the baby's mind before I passed out. I won't let Sam and the pack hurt Bella and my niece. If they do, they will be killed by my own hands. I'm not afraid.
