Ch. 6 "Rescue"

                                                    Bella POV 

We were at the park again this time Steve was with, I was sitting straight next to Bucky in the grass, 

I watch as all the kids and dogs and family's play, 

Then my ears go back, hearing a frantic child scream, this caused my head to snap into that direction, 

"Help! cough cough Help!" I heard 

I immediately went into my military training and took off like a bullet, 

"Bella!!" I heard Bucky 

I ran as fast as my four legs could get me, 

Once I got to where the noise was a child was in the cold water, trying to keep her head above the water, people crowd but couldn't do anything, 

Without hesitating I ran and jumped in the water, and I paddled towards the child, I grabbed the back of her hood with my teeth

Then I paddled back to shore where all kinds of people crowded around the child, I shook out my fur, 

I sat proud and tall when Bucky and Steve found me, 

"Dam Bella don't ever run off like that again," Bucky said 

"Sir is this your dog?" A officer said 

"Yeah," Bucky said 

"She just saved that little girls life," The officer said 

Then a man walked up to me kneeling in front of me, 

"Thank you... for saving my little girls life," The man said petting my head, 

He shook Bucky's hand and left, 

"Come on Bella," Bucky said 

I walked right in-between Him and Steve at a steady pace 

You know that did remind me of my old job, and... Luke, my ears laid down on my head, it still stings the betrayal, not being able to save him, 

Once we got in the door Bucky unhooked my leash and I sat and slowly laid down, I guess remembering Luke made me a little sad, 

"Bella?' I heard Bucky 

I lifted my head, 

Him and Steve were looking at me, 

He kneeled in front of me, 

"There is no easy way to say this but you need a bath," He said
