I've begun to plan where the story of 'The True Dragonet Prophecy' AU will go from this point. Do not take this as a guarantee that this series will be coming back soon, as my motivation works in mysterious ways, but just know that it is a possibility.
Up to this point, I had no plan as to where the story would go and I was making it up as I went. And, believe it or not, that is not a good way to write a story. After a certain point, the plot was going to be nearly identical to the canon Wings of Fire plot (especially for Clay, Tsunami, and Glory. Not so much for Starflight and Sunny, but still). I knew immediately that I did not want that, but I didn't know how to write it any other way. Then depression and a lack of motivation began to kick in, and I even forgot about this story for a while. Every once in a while I'd say that I needed to update it, but I could never actually bring myself to do so. But now I'm doing much better and I hope to be productive again soon. I believe that both my mental health and my writing skills have improved since this story was started. I may even reword or update what I've already written (the plot will be the same, but the exact words will be different).
For those who enjoyed and waited for this story, thank you very, very much for your patience. I hope you can understand and I didn't mean to be dead for so long.
