If you write: how do you personally break out of a writer's block?

Do you have any tips or tricks for other writers that help keep you motivated?

Do you map out your entire story before you write it or just go with the flow?

I have an unpublished chapter dedicated to the story line. I write up every chapter and write keywords under each chapter about what's going to happen in the story. Here's an example:

          	  Prologue:
          	  - Walks over to her friend
          	  - Movie night (prank calling, movie)
          	  - Arrives at home and gets ready for bed
(It was a weird example but you understand what I mean xD)

If I have trouble finding out what to write, for me it helps to just fantasize (or daydream) in my free time. For example, if I'm on the buss or when I'm trying to sleep, I just fantasize where I left off in the story and see where it goes, if you understand what I mean.

Just try some of these tips and see if it works. Maybe do some research and find out what works for you. And I really hope you update "When the crow sings" soon! I love that book <3
