Hi Susan!
Are you still around? Just dropping by to say hello and see if you're working on anything new. (Hello!)

@BonaClese Thank you for taking a look at my recent short story concept collection "Inclement Weather". I wrote the whole thing in 20 days in a Tasmanian Devil whirlwind of writing. No idea how I pulled that off! Let me know what you think of them, if you like. I'm always open for comments and suggestions. :-)

            Hi Berengaria --

Thanks for checking in, that's so nice (you have no idea)

Yep, long time no me. I've been flying hard under the radar, or under my desk, the couch, the cellar hoping the Covid-19 doesn't strike at home. I live in Oregon, so probably one of the safer places, for now. Still, it's been a horror show. 3 million cases??? And all that death. Nothing wrong with my imagination so anything is everything.

Word-wise, I am working on a quirky little fantasy that I've been poking at for too many years and now I'm getting stubborn about finishing.

            Stay safe!!

Thank you so much for your comments, votes, and feedback! It means so much! I’m working with an editor this evening actually to try to make more sense of my story. These originally were just journal entries from over the years that I converted into a memoir so it’s not “aligned” and I don’t know how much sense it makes to the readers. I’m going to start on your first book tomorrow afternoon!

Hello all,
Available now with new parts coming in drips and drabs: Tangled Threads (true stories, lightly tossed). My story on surviving estrangement.

It's hard to write one's memories in a linear fashion, which means I won't necessarily be posting top-down, start-to-finish. I'll do my best to help you follow the bouncing ball.

          ABOUT
There was never a happily ever after, not until I divorced my first husband...and then the rest of my family ten years later. In a series of vignettes, poetry, and personal letters, I describe my transition from heartache to healing.

This is a work of managed non-fiction. The stories are true, with some details diced and sliced because of the vagaries of memory. Also to protect the innocent, the dead, and the living dead.

Trigger Warning: I am a domestic and familial abuse survivor. You can expect graphic, emotional details. There is no rape, incest, or sexual aggression in this telling.

To my followers, thank you. I've been deeply engrossed in getting this 'thang' rolling and appreciate your interest & support.

Part 1 of 13: Haunting the Jerome Hotel. Look for a new chapter daily through Feb. 2. A haunted hotel in a ghost town, what could be more...cliché? How about a hotel that doesn't have a ghost, but wants to score one? After all, ghosts put hotels ON THE MAP, especially when this hotel was once a hospital for miners. And we all know that miners die grisly, unfortunate deaths. Why this hospital-turned-hotel is not haunted is a mystery no one can solve. The lack of ghosts, of creepy lore, of midnight bouts of things being flung around and scaring people silly (who love it, really they do) is downright inconvenient. It's bad for business, maybe even bad for Jerome. After all, the West's biggest ghost town has a reputation to maintain. Or create. The Jerome Hotel is not haunted. Yet. Now someone has a plan to change all that. https://www.wattpad.com/story/174921135
