Brinda Carey Author

Brinda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from UTT and is a retired probation officer from Smith County. Creating awareness of the ongoing issue of child abuse, specifically incest, is the basis for much of her writing. Brinda is a member of the RAINN Speakers Bureau and accepts speaking engagements to inform the public and offer hope to those in recovery. She also speaks at writers conferences and workshops on the craft of writing. 
A native Texan, Brinda now resides in Northwest Arkansas where her husband of thirty years is currently employed. Their children and thirteen grandchildren bring much joy into their lives, as does their Springer spaniel, Maggie Mae.
