     A B O U T   M E  

  . : Somewhere between shining remnants of Rome and the vale of Avalon, I live in the South-West of England, never short of historical or mythical inspiration. 

  Childhood visits to Cornwall's rugged coast have embedded a love of the untamed ocean and the wilds that have permeated many of my stories. 

A love of fairy tales and old legends woven into my mind a love of the Fantasy genre, although explorations in realism and word play have lent themselves to some of the more contemporary pieces seen here. 

For me, as for most writers, this craft that I've picked up is an outlet for expression, for all the things bottled up in my mind.  So that I can wage wars far away, save the damsel, befriend the dragon, fly with the eagles, and sail the ocean in search of lost treasure. : . 
 
. :  Sailboat and Risen are now published as part of the In Mind Of Violet 'Anthology,' available at www.inmindofviolet.co.uk/shop  Raising awareness for depression, social anxiety  and sufferers of other mental illness. All funds go to the London Samaritans branch. 
       InMindOfViolet was set up by four friends after Violet, someone very dear to them, took her own life. 

     I have been making up stories all my life. 
     The moment I learned to wield a pen properly
