I have walked 14,500 miles for various causes, including biological conservation, people with disabilities, cancer relief and hospice. The journeys have taken me across Britain, Iceland, America, and New Zealand.

I have written a book about my 6,000 mile walk across Britain and America, entitled 'Beyond the Setting Sun'.

I have also written a book about a 1,500 mile walk across New Zealand, in which I walked through an active volcano, clambered over glaciers, swam with fur seals, experienced a 4.9 Richter Scale earthquake, and stayed with Maori people and conservation workers involved in protecting endangered wildlife. This book is entitled: 'New Zealand -1500 miles on foot through- The Land of The Long White Cloud'.

I am now working on a third book about walks carried out in 2007, 2009 and 2011, which is entitled: 'America -12,000 miles on foot, a wing and a prayer.'

There are webpages on facebook for my first two books:

Hi... I hope you like my 'New Zealand' book. It was great walking all the way from Cape Reinga to Bluff... lots of friendly people and sights along the way. It's an amazing country. I'm from Engla...
