Hi crystal. May i know if there is any heart fire story other than this? I'd found your story from other website. The storyline and plot almost the same but the details are a bit different (Some dialogues and scene are same). So i just curious if that was your unedited version while in wattpad is polished version.
I found on 4shared but it was published like 6 years ago (2018). The title is exactly the same as yours.

Anyway, I wanted to ask you if I could make a similar spinoff of one of your books with a few similarities and plot. I can notify you on what book I wanted to base this on if I could get your approval you are free to inquire about anything and I can make changes later on if you deem it so.

@LoyalDog57 I posted once. Just saying "Hello" on Wattpad often makes one look like a scammer, scammy contract offerer, or predator after how many on Wattpad use that approach. I'd rather not have anyone assume I'm any of those. Feel free to pick a different phrase.
Crystal due to wattpad removing messengering from readers to readers and to authors the community has just gone I’ve lost contact with everyone and I feel let down by the admin of wattpad , being sick with kidney disease the messages and stuff were great both emotionally and socially keeping people connected during all the ups and downs of Covid illness etc , as one of my favorite authors I couldn’t just disappear but I’ve lost all my messages of help support etc and honestly I feel betrayed by the service , your books are amazing and I love everyone and the love support I’ve received from people has been fantastic but this has ruined my love of the app , however if you ever post anywhere else please let me know . All the authors I’ve read and love all deserve total success but the app managers keep alienating the readers and it seems the community and my world is very becoming small and getting smaller . Suffering from kidney disease and this just makes it harder and more difficult to keep in touch with readers and friends .
Thankyou for all your kind and meaningful support in your writing your messages (which are now all gone alas as I had no way of knowing they were being removed ), so I have lost all my messages from you , max who has passed on and wolphin , it’s a decision that has left me feeling abandoned and alone , that said your books gave me hope love laughter and tears and have kept me thoroughly entertained for the last 10 years I’ve been a member of this community .

I don’t know it’s not just me though it’s security for your work etc . I haven’t looked at alternatives I feel to depressed at the whole disregard of the community and the friends and people I know and want to support . It feels like we are all being herded into and this is the way it will be , no private chatting no sharing of ideas no dissent from the “standard” by removing the ability to talk and chat between readers authors and friends it makes the world seem more divisive and cold , I have no idea on what other apps or book sites there are I’ve never thought or had to contemplate moving or change (I hate change) loyalty obviously isn’t a thing anymore to corporations . I will keep in touch I won’t be gone forever I’m just so depressed and broken all the fun and history just callously wiped away it so sad especially since people I know who have passed on I’ve lost their personal touches the reply’s and messages that made me laugh cry happy sad the little things that made this place a community rather than just a website , that hurts a lot and is soul destroying
@GlenMaddock -Sending virtual hugs- I miss the inbox too. So many things in there I'll never be able to see again. It saddens me to know that all those reader conversations were lost forever (aside from a few I screenshotted to save - some of those were yours). You are always welcome in the Sanctuary Discord. At the moment I haven't posted my books anywhere besides a few of them on Amazon. If you were to pick a different app, which one would you go to?

Hey :) so I was on SHEIN and found this shirt that reminded me so much of Nicky that I had to buy it it says “I don’t have ducks in a row I have squirrels and they are everywhere” which reminded me of when Nicky said something along the lines of “ I don’t have ducks. I have squirrels and they are at a rave.” Nicky had a bigger impact on me than I thought apparently.

Hi Crystal (can I call you that idk don’t mean to be rude) I’m at a roadblock I have developed a world but can’t expand I’m stuck I can figure out a way to build a book from it I mean it’s massive I have stuff from a history to a currency and political systems and everything I don’t want it to go to waste and have it sitting there any ideas I’ve taken a break but I’m kinda stumped so I’m turning to a writer that I would assume has this happened frequently (sorry for the assumption I’m assuming that this happends to you before in your books world development again no disrespect ment at all)

@Legacy_K Feel free to call me Crystal. Worldbuilding is a fun endeavor of the mind and quite addictive, but to bring it to life, it needs characters and a journey/events to happen to said characters. Heartfire was like that. I had a world, so I dropped Diane and friends into it. My style of writing is closer to a pantser, so I imagine things as I write them. Like daydreaming and following the characters around. (Others are plotters, and write a detailed outline before they start writing the story. Whichever route works for you - try both in case one works better. Some use a combination of approaches). Tolkien had the same problem with LoTR. He built a world, but in order to share it, he had to bring in characters and give them a goal to chase after (there are a few interesting Youtube videos about him struggling with that and finally deciding to "force" some hobbits to carry a ring across the 'world' instead of stronger characters). Perhaps try returning to your original inspiration and pretending you're a DnD DM with troublesome players? Make the characters work for their goals. :)
