Passionate Pastels

I'm not really sure why I'm here. I don't really like reading fan-fictions that much, most of them seem a little bit generic. (no offence to generic fanfiction writers). But, I guess I fancy myself as a writer. Perhaps I'm a hypocrite. I don't care anyhow. I guess I just want to have a platform to write on that can let me see what other people think of my writing. On the flip side, if I do become good enough to write professionally, my work will already be on here so people won't have to pay to read it? Meh. Taran Matharu started out here, anyway. 
Anyway, my interests are made up of two parts, i guess, for anyone who's bothering to read this anyway. First part is: fandoms. I guess my main fandom is the Rick Riordan fandom, although I haven't read the Kane Chronicles, (I tried but they're not as good as the others). Of course, I love Harry Potter too. I've got a massive collection of Harry Potter memorabilia (including a bunch of home-carved wands). I also love the original How to Train your Dragon books by Cressida Cowell, (which are so much better than the movies). I also am a member of the fandoms of: Voltron (Legendary Defender), Gorillaz (Great Band), Charlie Bone (Largely unknown book series), Squire's Tales (Even more unknown book series), Star Wars (I know too much about that universe- I could tell you the name and species of the alien that Obi Wan Kenobi cut the arm off in the Cantina in Mos Eisley Spaceport to the tune of Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes' sweet melodies during star wars Episode IV- A New Hope), Pirates of the Caribbean (the only Disney franchise that has a plot that can confuse me). My last fandom is one that I will never try to write about, because I hold it in a sacred spot in my heart. The Moomin books, by Tove Jansson. Surreal and Beautiful. Forget the TV series. 
I'm also obsessed with lists, the ocean, music, drawing, dogs, mythology, using up all available space in 'about' sections, and the beach boys. I'm old school.
