Posting the beginning of a new short story right now that I've been passively working on the side for a while. It's not gonna replace the Star Wars story nor is it gonna take priority or get in the way of finishing it, nor does it invalidate my deadline of the 10th to have the next Star Wars/Doom chapter out, I just decided to write a few chapters of this little side project now because it's way quicker to get out the door and I've been itching to post something

If I had a dollar for every "Jaune Arc" crossover story on Wattpad… I'd have zero dollars and an assload of counterfeit because since when was scrawny ass Jaune “Vomit Boy” Arc the sigma-wannabe emo self-insert of a thousand 14 year olds? Have these people even watched that sh*t ass RWBY show? Out of all the characters to slap the name on your carbon-copy doomer ass depressed and edge-lected OC that somehow gets bitches because you authors want what you'll never have…. you choose the dense comic relief dorky underdog character who is constantly out of his league.
Also I'd have an economy on the verge of a hyperinflation-induced crash that would put the 1930s to shame, because Jaune Arc stories are gosh darn everywhere.

@kybus24 I saw your comment on that chapter, thanks for it and I actually replied like six times but for some reason each one never showed up so I’ll just respond here- 1) I won’t say exactly what happens for the sake of spoilers but I will say this: more than one of the clone contingency orders will become relevant in the story 2) Yes and no, things are gonna change because as the story moves on you’ll see certain lore elements in both Doom and Star Wars start to mesh together because it’s part of my plan of fleshing out the Doom story more. Eventually the ancient gods general plotline will happen but it’ll involve some different characters and elements. 3)F #k yes they will. They’re gonna show up eventually in the next arc of the story and they absolutely will become homies with the Doom Slayer when you need help, in fact, that’s the entire reason is specified that this story takes place not long after Maul took power on Mandalore. You may have to get involved ;)

Yeah it’s been a long while hasn’t it. I left the last chapter about halfway finished a couple months ago when stuff started piling up but I think I’ve finally found some space to get back at it. Hopefully soon, I’ll post an update
